This is the Czech Army carrier for the MC-4 gas mask, a tall cotton canvas bag that keeps the mask covered and close at hand on a shoulder strap. The same simple design works as a sturdy everyday satchel for a water bottle, rations, a first aid kit or small tools. Collectors and reenactors building Czech kit will want it for its authenticity. Features
- Cotton Canvas Body — Tightly woven cotton canvas forms the walls, a heavy fabric that holds its shape and stands up to hard handling.
- Two-Button Flap Closure — A deep, overlapping flap covers the top opening and fastens with two metal buttons through stitched buttonholes.
- Crossed-Sword Buttons — Each metal button carries an embossed crossed-sword emblem, a detail typical of issued military hardware.
- Adjustable Webbing Strap — An olive webbing shoulder strap runs through a metal slider buckle, so you can shorten it for cross-body carry or lengthen it to hang from one shoulder.
- Metal Ring Attachment — Short webbing tabs anchor the strap to metal rings at each side of the bag.

Perfect for my survival gear stash!I bought this bag to hold some of my emergency supplies and it's just the right size. The canvas material seems sturdy and long-lasting. 10/10

Authentic CSLA haversack, crossed swords buttons and allMine came with the two plastic buttons stamped with the crossed swords CSLA mark, the internal pocket is intact, and the waist ties (those plastic-backed fabric strips on the sides) are still serviceable. Canvas is that classic brown-green the Czechs loved in the 70s/80s. Did it smell like a Soviet-era basement when I opened it? Absolutely. Hung it outside for two days and it aired out fine. For the money you will not find a more honest piece of Cold War surplus.

Like new condition, vintage plastic buttons with emblem are cool af, and it keeps my MC-4 mask plus filters clean and protected. Customer service answered fast when I asked bout sizing, fits standard masks perfect.

Vintage bag that ships super fast.The bag itself is pretty neat, its got that authentic military look with the brown-green color and everything. My only complaint is the waist tie straps are kind of annoying to secure sometimes and I wish there was more pocket space inside. Still happy with the purchase tho, great deal for $6.95.
