Scorpion Magazine Pouch

This leather pouch was issued to carry spare magazines for the Vz61 Scorpion, the compact Czechoslovak submachine gun chambered in .32 ACP. It holds two 20-round magazines on the belt, close at hand under a flap that stays shut. Czech Army and police security units carried it, and today it is wanted by Scorpion owners, Cold War collectors and reenactors building a correct Eastern Bloc loadout.

Features

• Two-Magazine Capacity — The body is sized for a pair of 20-round Vz61 magazines in .32 ACP, also known as 7.65mm Browning.
• Curved Profile — The pouch sweeps forward at the bottom to follow the curve of the Scorpion magazine, so the mags sit in their natural shape.
• Pebble-Grain Leather — The outer shell is brown leather with a textured, pebbled surface on the flap, tab and back.
• Stud-and-Tab Closure — A leather tab with a slotted hole presses over a metal stud on the front, holding the flap closed without a buckle or snap to fail.
• Wide Rear Belt Loop — A broad leather loop stitched to the back slides onto a duty belt or field belt.
• Hand-Stitched Seams — Pale thread runs around the edges and reinforces the tab and belt loop where they take the most strain.
• Rough-Out Interior — The inside of the flap and body shows the suede side of the leather, which grips the magazines lightly.
• Genuine Czech Army Issue — This is original government-issue equipment from Czechoslovak and Czech service.

Czechoslovak Issue

The pouch dates to the Vz61's service with the forces of communist-era Czechoslovakia, and it stayed in use with the Czech Army and police afterwards. The design is simple: one leather body shaped to the magazine, one flap, one stud and one belt loop.
