These flags are incredibly rare as they are produced by Valley Forge Flag Company who only manufactures them for sale to the State Department. With the growing number of ex Foreign Service officers the demand for authentic and properly sourced diplomatic surplus is high with the supply of goods very low. We were lucky enough to receive these flags in a large mixed item lot direct from a US Government surplus auction making them 100% authentic and proper for sale to collectors.
