Description
Features
- Current-Issue Bundeswehr Knife — Built by Eickhorn-Solingen as a current-issue combat knife for the German Bundeswehr and IDZ infantry system.
- 6.63" Tanto Blade — Aggressive tanto profile delivers a reinforced point for piercing work and a flat primary edge for slicing and utility cuts.
- Böhler N695 Steel — High-carbon stainless blade steel offers excellent edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance under hard field use.
- Black Kalgard Coating — Low-glare Kalgard finish protects the blade from rust and abrasion while reducing visual signature.
- Sawback Spine and Wire Cutter — Aggressive backsaw teeth cut through wood, bone, and plastics, and the integrated wire cutter slices barbed wire with the sheath.
- Fiberglass-Reinforced Handle — Textured glass-fiber-reinforced polymer grip stands up to extreme temperatures, impact, and chemical exposure.
- Glass Breaker Pommel — Hardened striking point protruding from the butt of the handle smashes vehicle glass for rapid egress or rescue.
- MOLLE / IDZ Sheath — Polyamide sheath with retention strap fits U.S. MOLLE platforms and German IDZ carrying systems, with the integrated wire-cutter port.
- Diamond Blade Sharpener Included — Field-ready diamond sharpening plate ships with the knife so you can dress the edge anywhere.
- Made in Solingen, Germany — Manufactured in the Solingen blade district by Eickhorn, with overall length of 12" (30.5 cm) and 0.20" (5 mm) blade stock.
