Fiocchi 12 Gauge Rubber Baton Rounds

Less-Lethal 12 Gauge Load

The Fiocchi Rubber Baton is a 12 gauge shotshell that fires a single hard rubber projectile instead of lead shot or a slug. It belongs to Fiocchi's Less Lethal Line and is built for situations where deadly force is not authorized, such as law enforcement crowd and riot control. The rubber baton is meant to deliver a painful blunt impact without penetrating. Less-lethal does not mean harmless, though: it can still cause serious injury, especially at close range.

Features

• 12 Gauge Chambering — The shell fits 12 gauge shotguns chambered for 2-3/4 inch shells or longer.
• 70mm (2-3/4 Inch) Shell — The standard 70mm hull length matches the most common 12 gauge chamber size.
• Hard Rubber Baton Projectile — One solid rubber projectile replaces lead shot and is intended to strike with blunt force rather than penetrate.
• 4.75 Gram Load — The box lists the projectile load at 4.75 g, light enough to keep impact in the less-lethal range.
• 740 FPS Muzzle Velocity — The rated velocity of 740 feet per second is well below that of a standard buckshot or slug load.
• 27mm Brass Head — A brass head measuring 27mm (about 1.06 in) seats the shell in the chamber and supports reliable extraction.
• Green Law Enforcement Hull — The bright green hull is printed "Law Enforcement" and "Rubber Baton" so it is easy to tell apart from lethal loads in a magazine tube or ammo pouch.
• Made In Italy — Fiocchi loads this ammunition in Italy, and the box carries the Italian origin mark.
• Box Of 10 Shotshells — Each box holds 10 rounds.

Load Specifications

The box carries the full specification: 12 gauge, 70mm shell length, 27mm head and a 4.75 g load. The shell itself is a green plastic hull on a brass base, with the rubber projectile seated at the crimped end. Keep these rounds clearly separated from lethal ammunition and confirm that less-lethal munitions are legal where you live before buying or using them.
