FNS-40 Factory Magazine

This is FN's own 14-round .40 S&W magazine for the FNS-40 striker-fired pistol. It is a factory replacement, made by the same company that builds the gun, so it fits and feeds the way the pistol was designed to. Owners use it to replace a worn or lost magazine, or to build up enough spares for range days, training classes and carry.

Features

• 14-Round Capacity — Holds 14 rounds of .40 S&W, the standard factory loadout for the full-size FNS-40.
• Factory FN Manufacture — Made by FN, so the dimensions match the original magazines supplied with the pistol rather than an aftermarket copy of them.
• Steel Magazine Body — The tube is formed from steel with a darkened finish that resists the flexing and denting polymer bodies can suffer when dropped.
• Impact-Resistant Polymer Baseplate — The black baseplate takes the knocks when a magazine is dropped from the gun during reloads and flares slightly to help seat it with the palm.
• Low-Friction Follower — The black polymer follower, the part that pushes cartridges up from beneath, slides smoothly inside the tube for consistent feeding down to the last round.
• Stainless Steel Spring — A stainless wire spring drives the follower and holds up to corrosion better than plain carbon steel.
• Stamped Caliber Markings — Caliber is stamped into the side of the body, so you can identify the magazine at a glance in a range bag.
• FNX-40 Compatible — The same magazine also fits the FN FNX-40 hammer-fired pistol, useful if you own both.

Fit And Construction

The magazine is designed for the FN FNS-40 and also works in the FNX-40. It will not fit 9mm FNS or FNX models, which use a different magazine. The body is steel with a dark finish that shades toward bare metal, topped by a black polymer follower and closed with a black polymer baseplate.
