I bought a used pair in xl as a casual wear option for myself. Quality is good and durable for what I'm expecting. I like it's similar structure to army/navy/marc pants, only a zipper in the fly, no cargo pockets or big fake velcro patch. They are long and will probably ride below the calf, that's the way the military seems to wear it. You'll probably need them hemmed if you wear shoes higher than low cut sneakers/tennis shoes. Material is thick, yet not super heavy, but pretty close. Will work well for spring/fall/spring/fall, depending on the temp you're wearing it. The one major improvement I would suggest is a more hidden cell phone pocket (not easily seen when sitting). I don't mind the two pen slots on the side because I'm from New York and always keep a folded pen on me anyway. I don't use the top elastic bands that is always attached to most of these pants, but if you do I imagine you'll have some slack to deal with around the waist. I have been holding onto these as a bug out bag and camp wear. They should work for camping if you want to dress down for summer wear, and in a SHTF situation if it is that dire I'm sure the military won't care what you're wearing and would work fine. They are long but the inseam is pretty normal, not a full length long which you'd wear on your hands and knees in a Bunker. These should last you a good amount of years. Will buy another pair in olive green or khaki, if these hold up they'll be worth the cost.

Excellent Pants for hiking or as work pants. Excellent fit and material and seem durable. The leg openings aren't as "snug" as I thought, so you have plenty of room to maneuver.

Great, brand new, durable, very well made. I was expecting the size range to be 38-46 (in inches), so don't buy a pair of these pants if you are under 38" or over 46" IMO!

Pants fit great I'm 5'9" about 170lbs ordered large and fit perfect! Comfortable, I ordered them as a sleeping pair of pants. I was able to wash and wear them with my uniform. Worth the buy.

I'm glad they sent out new, unworn pants. The quality was great, and there was a decent amount of room for my 36 inch waist. I am not 100% happy though. They are too long. These are listed as 29-31 inch inseams, but I can tell you they are about 33-34 inches. These would be great for a guy with 36+ inch waist and who wants his legs to end past his ankles, but I would be wearing something too long for my taste. If you have a 32 inch waist or smaller, I think you'll be fine. I would probably order your regular size and a size down in length. I ordered XL/Reg and L/Short. I'm glad they shipped quickly and didn't look used. They were definitely a new pair. The condition is what it says. Good, not excellent. You can see some dirt and wear on the buttons, straps, and cargo pockets. They don't look like they were worn though.
