Quality construction, it seems sturdy. I haven't been able to test that yet though, it was a gift. Size L is more like XL. Good enough, but not a size for someone with long arms and a longer back. He is a skinny long guy and he likes it. My brother doesn't wear hoodies, he prefers a collar and a scarf. The turtle neck and hood are warm for those that don't care for a collar.

A nice piece of military kit. Large so if you wear a 2X get a size larger. I'm an XXL in everything else and ordered the 3X. Still a bit large but I'm keeping it. Well worth the $25 or so. Fast shipping too. Recommend it highly. Good piece of German made kit. Wish they had a lighter weight version in this pattern for spring or fall use. I'll take it.

Jacket fit great and was a nice fit but the snap broke on the left side when trying to put it on the first time so the button hole needs to be repaired before using it. The snap is very fragile and weak. Also zipper was extremely dirty on inside, a few passes through the washer with laundry detergent made it easier to clean. I don't think I would buy it again but for the money it is a good jacket.

Love this parka. Keeps me warm and in great shape too. Wore this during subzero conditions on icebreakers for many years and never had a complaint. It’s warm but you don’t get overheated and the pockets are very handy. Highly recommend. 5’11 180. Ordered a medium. Fits just right. If you are bigger than that order a large. Very happy. Fast delivery. I’m going to get another.

If you live in colder climes, especially windy areas this is a must have coat. I am very happy with it. Well insulated and seems to be well made and the zipper is top quality, just like in the USA but the real kicker for me is it is real close to a perfect fit for my tall skinny build (6' 190lb / size 10 / long torso / 32" sleeves). The sleeves are about a centimeter short, but you could probably cut them with no problem, just know you would be removing insulation in the sleeves, which would probably make it less effective.
