Fur Missile PVC Patch

K9 Morale Patch

The Fur Missile PVC Patch from Mil-Spec Monkey is a morale patch for K9 handlers and anyone who works with, trains or simply loves working dogs. The artwork shows a charging Malinois with a missile strapped to its back, a nod to how a working dog launches itself at a target once it is released. It attaches by hook-and-loop to packs, caps, plate carriers and any other gear with a loop panel.

Features

• Molded PVC Construction — The patch is cast in flexible PVC, a rubbery plastic that holds raised detail and shrugs off rain and mud better than embroidered thread.
• 3.5 x 2.4 Inch Size — At 3.5 by 2.4 inches (roughly 89 x 61 mm), it fits a standard loop panel on a cap, sleeve or pack lid.
• Sewn Hook Backing — A black hook panel is stitched to the back rather than glued, so it stays put through repeated swaps between pieces of gear.
• Loop-Compatible Attachment — The hook side grips any loop field, the soft fuzzy half of a hook-and-loop fastener found on most tactical bags, hats and carriers.
• Working Dog Artwork — A brown and black Malinois lunges forward with a gray missile harnessed to its back and a chain trailing behind.
• Raised Multi-Color Detail — Bold white "FUR MISSILE" lettering sits over red, white and blue stripes, framed by a gray border and black outline.
• Guest Artist Design — The artwork was created for Mil-Spec Monkey by guest artist WebtechGear.

Build and Attachment

Each color in the design is a separate molded layer, which gives the dog's fur, the missile panels and the lettering a slightly raised, textured edge. The contoured outline follows the artwork, including the dog's legs, instead of sitting inside a plain rectangle. Press it onto any loop surface to mount it and peel it off to move it, with no sewing or adhesive required.
