Hatchet And Knife In One

The Gerber Gator Combo Axe puts two camp tools into the space of one. A compact hatchet handles splitting kindling and clearing small limbs, and a fixed blade knife (one that does not fold, so there is no hinge to fail) stows inside the hollow axe handle for cutting cord, prepping food and other fine work. It suits campers, hunters and anyone who keeps a tool kit in the truck and would rather carry one item than two.

Build And Carry

Gerber molds the axe handle around the head and leaves the bit and poll in bare grey steel. The butt of the handle opens to take the knife, and a fitting at the end holds it in place until you need it. Both tools carry Gerber branding, on the axe handle and etched on the knife blade.
