Features

• 8-Inch Shaft Height — The boot rises about 8 inches (20 cm) to support the ankle and keep debris out of the top.
• Nylon And Suede Upper — Heavyweight nylon panels sit alongside suede leather at the toe, heel and lacing line, where a boot takes the most scuffing.
• Sierra Lug Outsole — The sole uses the Sierra tread, a pattern of deep, chunky lugs that bite into dirt, gravel and loose sand for grip.
• Speedlace Hooks — The upper lacing uses nylon-coated brass speedhooks, open hooks you wrap the lace around instead of threading, so the boot goes on and off faster.
• Lower Eyelets — Conventional eyelets at the instep hold the lace tight over the top of the foot for a locked-in fit.

Construction And Fit

Rothco makes this boot as a G.I. type reproduction, meaning it follows the look and layout of US issue boots but is new commercial production rather than original government stock. The pair pictured is desert tan, with a matching tan sole and laces and a Rothco logo molded into the outsole. The mix of hooks above and eyelets below is the standard military lacing setup and lets you set tension separately at the foot and the ankle.
