Glock 6.1mm Steel Rear Sight

This is Glock's own factory fixed rear sight in steel, cut to a 6.1mm height. Rear sight height sets where your shots land relative to where the sights point, so this part is mainly for shooters whose pistol hits high with a taller rear, or who are matching the factory setup of a specific model such as the Glock 17L. It also replaces a worn or damaged rear sight with the same OEM part, meaning one made by Glock itself rather than an aftermarket copy.

Fit And Sight Height

Glock makes its rear sights in several heights, and swapping between them is the factory's way of correcting elevation on a fixed-sight pistol. A lower rear sight like this 6.1mm unit brings point of impact down, and a taller one raises it. The 6.1mm height is the standard rear sight on the Glock 17L, and it installs in the factory dovetail on Gen 3, Gen 4, Gen 5 and MOS pistols, excluding the G42 and G43.
