Surprisingly good for the price pointOkay so full disclosure - ive been a diehard Under Armour HeatGear guy for years. Saw these on sale and figured id try them as a cheaper alternative for training days. Honestly? The Hanes 482L holds its own. The 100% polyester interlock feels smooth against skin, not that cheap plasticky feel some budget shirts have. Double-needle stitching is a nice touch at this price. Ive been wearing mine for HIIT workouts and the moisture management is legit - dries fast, doesnt get that soggy clingy feeling. The 4 oz weight is perfect for layering under a duty belt or plate carrier without adding bulk. If youre expecting UA-level compression though, look elsewhere... this is more of a relaxed athletic fit. For casual training and range use? Absolutely worth keeping a few in the rotation.
