Hi-Point Firearms, founded in 1992, is an American arms manufacturer that is based in Mansfield, Ohio. The company quickly made a name for itself by producing quality firearms and making them available for a low price. Today, the company produces a line pistols and carbines that are chambered in the following calibers: 380 ACP, 9x19mm Parabellum, .40 S&W and .45 ACP.
The company prides itself on what it considers its three greatest attributes: value, reliability and service. The value speaks for itself. When you buy a Hi-Point firearm, you receive a high-quality firearm at a low price. The reliability of a Hi-Point firearm is often overlooked. All Hi-Point firearms utilize a traditional blowback operation, which is simple yet reliable. Though this system of operation may provide for a heavier product, it also provides for a more reliable product due to their fixed barrels. Not to mention, all Hi-Point firearms benefit from the company's strict quality control policy that requires each pistol and carbine to be test fired for proper safety and functionality prior to shipping. Finally, there is service. All Hi-Point customers enjoy a lifetime warranty on all Hi-Point firearms that guarantees free repairs for the life of the firearm.
Generally speaking, it is beneficial to seek out factory magazines for your firearms. Factory magazines are manufactured by the same company, to the exact same specifications and tolerances as the originals. They are also made from the same materials, which ensures both fit and function in your firearm.

I believe this .45 clip can be used in both the handgun and carbine rifle that hi-point has, which is good so you can save money but not buying another clip, i own the 9mm version and with that one you do need to separate clips, wish i would have got the .45 version
i have never had a problem with this mag, i have shot several thousand rounds with the same mag and never had a problem with the spring not working right
