This little knife stays sharp and sharpens easy. You'll forget it's in your pocket.

Good knife at a good price.
Review by Aerial K.
When I first saw this Kershaw I wondered if the carabiner was just a gimmick. Turns out that I use it all the time as a nice change from clips. The only negative is the blade is very difficult to keep sharp. All my other knives get a session on the strop after any hard cutting jobs and I can keep them razor sharp. This Kershaw just won’t seem to sharpen to that degree.

One of my favorite little knives
Review by Camran K.
I need to carry a knife at work to cut zip ties, cat5 cables, etc. & this little guy doesn't scare anyone except the ultra lefties (ooh, scary!). LOL

Razor sharp and holds a good edge even when cutting cat cables.

Fit & finish are very good. The carbon fiber looks great against the dark coated blade.

The wire spring clip might not be strong enough to keep it attached to your belt loop. Better keep it inside your pocket using the side pocket clip.

Insanely sharp!
Review by Maliek Z.
Crazy sharp. Wish the carabineer was bigger. Can't seem to clip on my belt loop. Perhaps is the type of pants i wear (carhartt ). Love that it's slim and hides nicely in you pants, but still easy to get when needed.

Excellent, lightweight, slim
Review by Chauncey I.
This is an excellent all around knife. It is extremely slim and lightweight. It comes very sharp out of the box. The bottle opener also works great, and the deep carry clip is nice when you are trying to be inconspicuous. The lock is kind of small and hard to release.

Pros:
Slim
Light
Deep Carry
Bottle Opener/clip

Cons:
Finicky lock

Frame lock broke.
Review by Teretha T.
I love this little knife, great feeling and style but I've only been carrying it for about 2-3 months and the frame lock broke off. At first the knife wouldn't lock open anymore so I just took the screws out and the frame lock bar fell right out with the slightest push. I'm tempted to order another one because I enjoyed carrying it so much and the price is great.

My new favorite EDC
Review by Ester Q.
This little knife has become my new favorite EDC, replacing even my little Spyderco Dragonfly 2. The quality and smoothness of action don't match a Benchmade Mini Griptillian, but hey this knife is less than $25! For that price, the quality is excellent. The blade is a useful shape for common everyday tasks and easy to sharpen. The knife is fairly thin and rides in my pockets easily. It's so lightweight, I often forget I have it (so light that I've accidentally left it in my pants when throwing them in the laundry - fortunately every time I've retrieved it before it went through the wash!) The small deep-carry clip works well, it's unobtrusive, not too tight, not too loose. If I could change one thing, I could do without the small carabiner clip. For me, it's just a novelty - It's too small to easily clip to a belt loop on my jeans, and why do that when it has a pocket clip. I suppose it could be clipped to a backpack or something, but for my purposes I have yet to need the carabiner clip and it just seems superfluous. However, it doesn't really get in the way of anything so I don't dock it any stars. Kershaw makes a great knife for the money.

Lightweight carry
Review by Kionna X.
Nice lightweight small EDC knife. I've had this knife for 8 months. I like the bottle opener/caribener. Solid knife without wiggle. I have a nervous habit and find myself fidgeting with my knife at night quite a bit. in the process, I can say the caribener clip holds up quite well. great for a small knife to carry during those summer months when wearing shorts. Negatives I want to mention. Only for right handers. Can't consistently open without adjusting your grip to fully open with one hand. The most negative aspect of this knife would be the feel in hand when using it. because they made this knife with a groove to open it, there is only one side that comes in contract with your grip. sharp and uncomfortable feel. I'm not a fan of small knives. Kershaw cryo 2 is my favorite EDC but much bigger and heaver. I guess it depends on what your looking for.

Great EDC, keep going back to it
Review by Raphael E.
This is my main EDC knife. Bought many Gerber and Kershaws, a few others. This one I keep going back to this for a couple reasons. It came very sharp and is holding it's edge very well so far. Light weight! I can't even tell I have it clipped inside my pocket. Been carrying this since March and the pocket clip just did develop a little play. If it were to break right now, I'd order it again in a heartbeat. My fav based on use, weight, easy to open and it looks great to boot. The carabiner clip does work as a bottle opener on top of it all

Arrived Rusty

The knife arrived with a bunch of rust in the pivot and on the frame lock. I had to dismantle the knife to clean out the rust and oil to the knife. There was no oil whatsoever on the knife.

The locking mechanism broke
Review by Rumer N.
There's a lot I like about this knife, from it's size to it's weight. It's decently sharp and for the price it would have been perfect. BUT, the blade locking mechanism broke within two weeks of very light use. Basically, the bar that stops the blade from closing after it's fully opened wore down by a fraction of a millimeter, which causes the blade to no longer catch. I can make it lock by pushing the blade as far back as it will go, so it's still functional, but I can no longer flip it open with one hand. This may have been a fluke on my knife, but I'd recommend going with something with a little more solid construction.

Buck Apex vs Kershaw Reverb
Review by Ralph R.
Couldn't make up my mind, so I ordered both.

Build Quality - Buck: Both look very good to me. The experts say the buck has better materials, including a higher quality steel. Who am I to say different? They are extremely close in every visible aspect.

Sharpness - Kershaw: Both came sharp. Both are acceptable but the Kershaw is noticeably sharper.

Price - Kershaw: $22 vs $30

Size - Kershaw: This one is subjective. You may appreciate the beefier Buck. I wanted an EDC and the Kershaw is slightly shorter and slight narrower. The clip is also shorter and positioned on the same end as the carabiner. It just fits my pocket better and is the one I am carrying today. The Buck is going to my son...who is also very happy. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either one.

Edit:. Unlike the Buck, I can open the Kershaw with one hand. But while testing, I noticed the blade lock does not work sufficiently (and it works great on the Buck). Disappointing. Removed a star.

Edit two: After much use, the knife loosened up and the lock started to work properly. Happy with this knife....but should have worked correctly out of the box imo.

Kershaw sharpness and quality

Great every day carry knife

I’ve gone through a handful of pocket knives for my EDC and Ive really liked this one. Not too expensive if you lose it (I actually lost one and bought a 2nd ). I like the deep pocket clip.
