Hooded Crosshair Front Sight

The KNS Precision AR15 Crosshair Front Sight replaces the standard mil-spec front sight post with a hooded ring carrying a fine crosshair. Rather than balancing a post inside your rear aperture, you center a crosshair on the target. It suits shooters who run iron sights on an AR-15, M16, AR-10 or SR25 and want a finer aiming reference for precise shots.

Features

• Duplex Crosshair Reticle — A duplex design pairs thin center lines with heavier outer sections, so the eye finds the middle quickly and the fine center stays precise.
• .010 Inch Crosshair — At .010 in thick, the lines cover very little of the target at distance.
• Heat-Treated Beryllium Crosshair — The crosshair is heat treated, which hardens the metal so the thin lines hold their shape.
• Hooded .240 Inch Aperture — The ring around the crosshair has a .240 in opening and shields the reticle from knocks and side glare.
• Blackened Brass Housing — The sight body is brass with a black finish that keeps reflections down when you are looking through the sights.
• Notched Adjustment Flange — Notches around the base flange engage the front sight base's spring detent, so elevation adjusts in clicks like the factory post.
• Drop-In Installation — It threads into the front sight base in place of the mil-spec post, with no modifications or special tools required.

Build And Fit

KNS Precision builds the housing from blackened brass and the crosshair from heat-treated beryllium. The threaded shank and notched flange copy the mil-spec post's layout, so the sight installs in the same front sight base your rifle already has. Zeroing works the way it does with the standard post: turn the sight in or out to set elevation.
