M2HB Charging Assembly

This is the retracting slide assembly for the Browning M2HB .50 caliber heavy machine gun, the side-mounted mechanism the operator uses to pull the bolt to the rear and charge the gun. It is made by United Defense. Armorers, collectors and owners use it to replace a worn or missing assembly, or to complete a receiver or display build.

Features

• M2HB Retracting Slide — The assembly is the charging system for the M2HB, letting the operator draw the bolt back by hand to load or clear the gun.
• Vertical Retracting Handle — A cylindrical upright grip gives a full-hand hold for the long, heavy pull the .50 caliber bolt requires.
• Open-Frame Slide Bar — The long, open frame carries a guide channel the slide travels along during the charging stroke.
• Slide Block With Fasteners — The handle rides on a machined slide block held together with visible screws and pins, so individual parts can be inspected.

Fit And Construction

The assembly is a complete unit: frame, slide block and retracting handle come together as shown, so it goes on as one piece rather than as loose parts. It is intended for the M2HB heavy barrel machine gun. Check your receiver and side plate before ordering, since it is a platform-specific component and will not fit other weapons.
