MagLite Heavy Duty 2-Cell Flashlight - Black

Classic 2-Cell Maglite

The MagLite Heavy Duty 2-Cell is a full-size handheld flashlight for workshops, vehicles, job sites and the home, where you need a long beam and a light that is easy to grip. It throws light about 676 feet (206 m) and runs for 8 hours 30 minutes, so it covers a power cut, a roadside repair or a walk around the property. Mag Instrument makes it in California, and this version comes in black.

Features

• FL1 Standard Ratings — Output, beam and run time are measured to FL1, the industry test standard for flashlights, so you can compare these figures directly with other rated lights.
• 27 Lumen Output — Lumens measure the total light the bulb puts out, and 27 lumens is a focused working level for close tasks and general use.
• 206 m Beam Distance — The beam stays useful out to about 676 feet (206 m), which lets you check a fence line, a driveway or the far end of a warehouse.
• 10,627 cd Peak Intensity — Candela (cd) measures how bright the center of the beam is, and a high figure like this means a tight, far-reaching hot spot.
• 8 h 30 min Run Time — A full set of cells gives eight and a half hours of light, long enough to cover most of a night.
• Water Resistant — The light is rated to keep working when it is used out in the rain.
• Knurled Grip Section — A band of fine diamond knurling around the barrel gives your hand purchase when it is wet, cold or gloved.
• Body-Mounted Push Switch — The rubber button sits forward on the barrel, where your thumb falls naturally when you hold the light.
• Made In The USA — Mag Instrument manufactures the light in California, and the head is engraved with the Mag-Lite name and origin.

Built in California

The body has a smooth, machined finish with a flared head around a polished reflector, plus a knurled center grip and a plain tail cap. The 2-cell layout keeps the light long enough to hold comfortably in a full fist, and short enough to stow in a vehicle door pocket or under a seat. The Mag-Lite and Mag Instrument markings are engraved on the head.
