• 6-Round .380 ACP Capacity — Holds six cartridges of .380 ACP, matching the standard capacity of the TCP's factory magazine.
• Fits Taurus PT-738 TCP — Built for the Taurus PT-738 and PT738 TCP, and stamped MG-PT738 .380 on the body so it is easy to identify in a range bag.
• Heat-Treated Carbon Steel Body — The tube is carbon steel, heat treated so the feed lips that hold the top round keep their shape through repeated loading.
• Blued Finish — A deep black blued finish, a chemical surface treatment on the steel, helps the body resist corrosion.
• Numbered Witness Holes — Round cutouts on both sides, marked 2 through 6, show how many cartridges are loaded at a glance.
• Music Wire Spring — High-tensile music wire is used for the spring so it pushes rounds up consistently over time.
• Blue Polymer Follower — The bright blue follower, the part that sits under the bottom round, shows through the witness holes when the magazine is empty.

Mec-Gar makes original-equipment magazines for a long list of pistol manufacturers, and this one is marked Made in Italy on the side of the body. The construction is all steel and polymer: a blued carbon steel tube, a music wire spring, a polymer follower and a polymer baseplate. It is cut to fit the Taurus PT-738 TCP specifically and is not intended for other .380 pistols.
