A little snug on the size but still works

Good for general duty. But too thick to be worn during hunting.
Review by Keepshooting Customer
The fabric is thick for use during a hike or patrol duty. But too bulky to use during hunting. Would have liked them to be a little more like normal Mechanix work gloves. These are for hiking the 2 miles to get to the rifle in Montana.

The best I've found so far
Review by Keepshooting Customer
For hunting, and shooting these are my favorite. You will find the sizes in XXS to XXXL and XL is just right. The extra palm padding will not let you pinch a small twig but it will let you grab tight a big round object like your AR15 magazine, in fact it grips so well that if the glove has a print you won't even notice it. In fact it might not even look tactical enough. Just like to my gloves from hunting boar in Ukraine, and when i have lost it these gloves are my closest substitute

Great gloves, got the camo one! They fit like a perfect snug fitting sleeve for your hands, you'll have a slight snug feeling but it will be great for what you need. Great product

Love these gloves. They have stood up to many a use.

This is my second pair of these gloves. They are durable and provide protection. The best protection for your hands are the one you have between your ears. Be careful and these gloves will last you a long time.

Great gloves, but the smell out the box is pretty bad! Make sure you air them out.

Well made, thin. Sizing is spot on for small hands
Review by Keepshooting Customer
Well made, thin. Sizing is spot on for small hands. Got mine for when working on my car, I'm pretty active so I think these will do well. I think I'll try a pair for mountain biking next. If they make it through summer in great shape I'll be happy with the purchase.

The only gloves I use
Review by Keepshooting Customer
I've bought about 6 pairs of Mechanix Wear gloves over the years. This is the first review I've ever written. I wear a large glove. I own other brands, that are not as durable as Mechanix. These are a little thicker than the thinner mechanix for those who need a bit more padding. If you are on your feet all day, they can be a little warm, and they may smell like the crap, so wear them outside. They fit great, and the grip is excellent. Mechanix's lifetime warranty will cover any fraying, but they won't replace them if you've beat the crud out of them, which I have. The sizing chart is right on. My Mechanix gloves fit my hands like, a....well, a glove.

Worked great while i worked in cold storage
Review by Keepshooting Customer
I used these gloves for my job in cold storage, so i would say these are a heavy duty glove. It worked great in the chill temperature, it wasn't cold enough to freeze my hands but the gloves kept them pretty warm. Overall, I am pretty happy with the purchase.

The standard
Review by Keepshooting Customer
It's Mechanix. They're always the standard for gloves. If you are a mechanic or need hard work gloves you need to have these. I've worn these to fight fires and they hold up amazingly. They also have saved my knuckles on a couple of occasions. They also are not too hot in the summer and protect your hands in the winter. They also hold up well with weapons training. These gloves I bought were for training but have been a stand by glove for real fires as well. They are comfortable and I can do my job with little thought of my hands. They don't limit your motion either so they don't get in the way.

The gloves will do the job.
Review by Keepshooting Customer
Not quite as good as my Oakley Tread Gloves but, not far behind. I will say, I have no need for, nor do I use all the features of these gloves. I simply wanted a good pair of shooting gloves and these fit the bill nicely. They're also much more breathable than my Oakleys. My major gripe is, I'm just getting the pair now, and I hope they last, I don't see any manufacturer info to go by to get an expected lifespan from. If they last long enough, I'll give a better review then, if not...will change. My next order will be for the Coyote version of these Mechanix gloves, to try them out as hunting gloves, they'll have the exact same protection and breathability as these ones.

Great for biking in winter.
Review by Keepshooting Customer
I bought these for riding my bike in the winter. The rides I've taken in single digit and negative temperatures these gloves keep my hands warm. A must have for those of us in northern climates. These do not have as much tactile feel as my summer gloves, but they will do the job and for me the small sacrifice in feel is worth the ability to ride when other cyclists pack up for the day. The velcro wrist straps work well to hold the gloves in place and stop any snow or water from getting in. After wearing for a couple of hours the gloves have held up well and do not smell like any harsh odors like some work gloves. Great for price. Recommend these for cold weather cycling or just light work.

The way a glove should be
Review by Keepshooting Customer
This pair of Mechanix gloves has surpassed all the pairs I have had before. The sizes were correct and I am able to pick up a 5 gallon bucket lid off the ground with them. My last mechanix pair was the 0.5mm and they didn't offer much more dexterity than these ones do. Great pair of gloves and it doesn't seem like they will be wearing out anytime soon.

Good stuff!
Review by Keepshooting Customer
Well these gloves are not good as welding gloves but for sure are great outdoors. You get good dexterity with this gloves and very good for small work, I've tried some old versions but the palms were way to rough and these are great! The size is a bit tight but you can always get a bigger size for $10-15 more.

Well Made
Review by Keepshooting Customer
I really like these gloves, so I ordered another pair. I wish that I had purchased the long finger version, I would not need to order the XL's. The length is great, however, the finger length is to short for my long fingers. The size XL's are good, just not as long as I would like. Aside from the finger length, they are great gloves. Very well made and the stitching is top notch. Great product, I would buy again. I think I will look at the next pair of gloves that I buy and see if I can find some with long fingers.

Good to great, really.
Review by Keepshooting Customer
I bought these to wear when i am going to the range. These do just that. There are some very nice touches to these gloves. 1)The loops on the ends for your shoelace are great, i hate when the loops on my gloves are too short and they dont really go around the back of my wrist very well. This loop allows it to be snug around your wrist. Also makes grabbing a gun much easier. Also, these loop to a loop on the wrist to secure them to your pistol even more so. They are a strong material and the gloves are a good length. Not too long or too short. 2)I was impressed by how the wrist closure works, its Velcro like most of the others out there, but there is an elastic closure inside of it that really keeps it tight and doesn't require your Velcro part. That really works good. They are not overly thick or padded, and the price is good, but they do not feel like they will be uncomfortable. 4)Good price, and they seem to be well made. The closure has been very durable so far. Overall: Nice work Mechanix. The price point is a little lower than some competitors, but i feel these are just as good. I have 2 more pairs on order. The pair of green ones have been put through their paces, as has a brown, a coyote, a navy, and some khaki colored ones i ordered. The color fades on the stitching and color. If you need the extra leather for grip, you may need some padding or something. I use mine when i am moving or carrying. The leather feels very thin. If you are going to be working with your guns or some very cold stuff, they might get uncomfortable. I think i will use these for moving stuff around and anything where it is going to be messy or there is a chance of contact with something hot. My girlfriend likes them too. She will use them in her garden and her studio (paint stuff). Overall: Great. Will probably buy more in different colors. These have not disappointed.

Comfortable for medium to hot weather conditions
Review by Keepshooting Customer
I have bought 3 pairs of this model, which are suitable for almost all occasions, be it winter or summer. The first pair i used in tropical Vietnam and also my tour in Australia in dusty environments. Very comfortable for outdoor jobs in tropical countries. They protect my hands from cuts and abrasions. For cold weather jobs, I would buy the ones with the thermal lining on the palm side. They are quite durable. For protection against sharp edges and knives, I would suggest using them with a finger less glove or other material on the tip of the fingers, or else the finger tips of the gloves will be cut easily when you handle sharp objects. Overall, they're comfortable and you will not regret the money spent on them.

Great Gloves
Review by Keepshooting Customer
I have had my pair of gloves for about 6 months now and they are very comfortable and have been a great glove to use. There is one small negative to these, they do stink like a chemical and it takes a while for the smell to go away. I also find the velcro fastener to have come loose on the right glove, not sure if this is a quality control problem. I would definitely buy these again though.

Review by Keepshooting Customer
I work at Midas and sometimes have to work on cars that are a mess or full of engine grease. These things really do keep my hands protected and help a lot with grip. Only problem is that I cant really feel anything when i need to. I would say for a glove these work perfect for their intended use. They do take some time to break in but thats not really an issue. Ive been using these everyday for a couple months now and I am very happy with them. Love the brand and these are good. If you get them, wash them before using. Dried gloves make your hands smell funky, I can't stand it and its really gross.

Perfect light-duty shooting gloves for a decent price. Good padding on the inside. 100% worth the money. These gloves hold up very well in the shooting line and will not shred. Get a set for every bag and a few extra pairs for when you need to replace your last set!

Well priced
Review by Keepshooting Customer
I love these. They're well made, not crazy stiff or uncomfortable like others, they're cheap and have good durability. They also hold a nice pistol grip. You can get replacements at home Depot if you get a big bite out of them and the old treads wear out. My first pair was bought about 6 years ago and just now needing replacements, and they still look like new with only a bit of repair with electrical tape to stop leaks from a pin hole a rodent got caught in. Good gloves and worth the money. My current pair is the black color with yellow stitching. I don't think that model is offered anymore. It was for mucking through the swamps for fun. The ones with grey palms and grey fingers with white writing have also held up well and are not a bad alternative if they're all that's available, the hand grip just isn't as secure with them but the leather finger is very thin as compared to the grey with black stitching. Not as much pistol grip with them, just the hard rubber like a thin tire of a bike.
