The Mil-Tec Brown Shapka is a fur-style winter hat built on the classic Russian ushanka pattern, with a deep crown, a front brim and long ear flaps that cover the ears and sides of the face. It is made for cold-weather wear: shoveling snow, standing outside at a range or a hunting stand, or simply getting through a hard winter. A Soviet-style red star cap badge on the front gives it the look of the hats worn by Red Army troops.

Build and Materials

Mil-Tec makes this shapka from a polyester and acrylic faux fur, a dense synthetic pile that traps warm air close to the head.
