Review by Keepshooting Customer
After reading some reviews on here I purchased this and was so happy when it arrived, I had no idea it would have that much extra space in the inside compartments as it looks like it only has room for 2 molle batts (1 on the inside and 1 on the back).

Best pack
Review by Keepshooting Customer
Good value , many uses and great quality . Bought one for my 16 yr old son and one for me and still the best . The 5xl model for 18inches or under will fit everything I carry and a laptop. The MOLLE is strong and I bought more straps for the inside to use with other pouches. Can't find any fault with this pack . It's tough as nails. I would buy it again.

Milk it to death - the only rucksack you'll ever need
Review by Keepshooting Customer
Absolutely superb rucksack - used it to and from airports in the US and is still going strong. Plenty of room, decent amount of compartments and really good access to the various pockets. One complaint - they could make the waist strap a little longer, but overall excellent rucksack. I just hope it doesn't fall apart when my youngest child leaves for university!

Btton pockets too small
Review by Keepshooting Customer
Really useful rucksack. Got this because it was much cheaper than all the similar Army issued stuff. Really happy with it. It does have a huge range of possible usages but for my application it just fits my daily commuting equipment and holds everything together nicely. Only reason for not being 5 stars is the bottle pockets are too small for normal 750ml bottles and have to be tucked in and used for radio antenna leads. All in all great product.

Nice Pack for Not-too-much-money
Review by Keepshooting Customer
This backpack replaced my old (injured and dying) pack from a small sporting goods store. This pack, I must say, is nice. Very roomy with enough storage for everything. As far as I can tell, this is MilTec Assault Pack (MOLLE VERSION). Now, I have never been in the military, or have even heard of MilTec, but it looks to be very well made. This pack has all around pretty thick material, the straps and buckles are of heavy, sturdy nylon. They have many points to attach your other Molle bags, it looks like there are 6 pouches on the inside, and there is enough extra space for all of my random small items. As far as I can tell this pack is new, the reason I have no rated it as five stars is because of my past experience with similar products, some packs that looked brand new had broken stitching and the zippers were coming apart, I hope that is not the case with this one.

Perfect product, and very well desgined for a compact, heavy, duty
Review by Keepshooting Customer
This 70L bag from is my third Mil-Tec design bag and by far my favorite! It can hold 3 or 4 camelbak water reservoirs with a compartment specifically for the bladder/ hose combo on the front flap along with a MOLLE panel that allows for more attachment points on the inside, The straps can also extend out a further 2 feet if needed to fully support more gear on the outside. The bag looks as rugged and tough as it feels. It has stood up to several test so far and withstood several drops, bumps and water submersion to not only withstand but to be actually cleaner after. Great buy for an everyday pack or weekend bag! Great quality, great looks and great price, I'm impressed.

Review by Keepshooting Customer
This bag is huge. This isn't the best review but to be fair, the product works and the value is good. If the maker/ seller had done a photo of a, well, actual MTP soldier/ sailor/ etc. holding this bag next to them, or at least showing it sitting beside them it would help people get an idea of the scale. Not many have been taken with that in mind so far, although some are coming along now. Still, to use my personal metaphor; think "briefcase" rather than gym bag. A very useful and good-looking backpack. Hope this was useful. If anyone wants to see it alongside an army person for size comparisons, let me know and I'll take some pics! If I get some of those I'll update this review with them. Thanks! PPS for comparative sizing: The longest bit of this, excluding the shoulder straps, goes from about a metre in front of the belt to just below the base of the neckline. At 170 cm, it just about comes down to the belt line of my BDU pants, I'm fairly comfortable sitting in the lotus position on the car seat, no pressure. For context: I can wear this pack, belt included, without being a foot off the ground! (Fair use / review) UPDATE 12/01: added a tad more context and review for potential potential customer of similar products looking at options. It is good for this! Update: 01/02 Add review to address some misunderstandings: Is the buckle detachable? NO. I'm not a fan, it's an awful and very unnecessary design element for this type of product. It can also catch against one's leg or on gear etc in use and you'll be losing buckle for sure. This was not at first apparent, and that is my mistake for not emphasising it. For reference the two other main brands, Maxpedition and JD I think it is, I also have and both have that function in their top flaps which covers the bag in the same sort of vein but I'm more comfortable with that as it's something a product-in-use, it allows an

this rucksack ticks all my boxes and i can't see it falling apart anytime soon, not as bulky as some, very well built and great price. this was sent from europe so may be subject to customs charge but the overall rucksack is very pleased. The colour is a little grey but on my monitor it was like FDE, nice shade if u compare it to genuine camou. would definitely purchase again and have been thinking of other colour options for future expeditions. only down side is the belt at the bottom can catch on the carrier when moving through a forest which isn't very nice. all in all a great rucksack, for me

Brilliant Bag!
Review by Keepshooting Customer
This is one good looking, tough little bag. It is robust and is very practical and very comfortable. The price was very good. My partner bought one of these a couple of years ago. It has been everywhere with him - down on his photography location trips to festivals and events. He still loves it. The main compartment is huge, which is great for his various cameras and camcorder etc. There are other small, zipped pockets for things that you need to keep a bit more hidden. There are several straps that will help you to get the length of the backpack correct. The one problem is that there is no "Chest Strap" - but it is comfortable enough for that not to be a major problem.

Solid construction and a nice size!
Review by Keepshooting Customer
This is the perfect pack for the range or camping. Good amount of storage with solid construction. I really like this bag and the size. I also like that it is black so it is not gender specific like the MultiCam colors. This would be a good bag to purchase for any outdoor pursuit.

So Good! I Reordered a Second!
Review by Keepshooting Customer
I was actually going to give this back. I bought a molle molly bag a few months ago that just did not work out for me. I was so disappointed. It felt cheap. The zippers got stuck. I was a day hike into our local state park, hiked out with my 3 and 5 year old boys in the hot July heat, and felt like an idiot, wishing I had bought something like this! So back to the MilTec you go, pack. The MilTec you arrived on July 11th. My oldest son was home from school, and it was 11:30 am, when I was finally able to open the Amazon box, and we made a quick trip to one of the state parks here in Pennsylvania, and went hiking for a few hours. We did not take much, just some food and water, rain gear, some random small toys. I took this pack, a knife (also from this site), my multi tool, cell phone, cash, water filter straws, rain ponchos, a handful of emergency whistles and duck tape, some trail mix and oranges. This is a light load for a day hike, with three boys, ages 3, 5, and 7. They played in a nearby creek, they dug for insects, rocks, twigs, and leaves. We hiked around a small lake. We were gone for a total of 4 hours. We made it back to the parking lot, by our car, tired, but ready to go home, by 4:30 pm. We arrived home at 5:30 pm. There was no water leakage from the MilTec pack. I had stuffing peanuts in some pockets. There was no sign of anything happening, with the pack. It looked the same. We had snacks, juice, a few other snacks, some drinks, and a small treat for each boy, while we were out, and everything made it home in the same condition it left. So far, I have been out with the MilTec pack a few more times, a day hike with a friends daughter, with my son, with just me

as an individual who has an actual 24L Camelback which has a very different overall layout and not the slightest idea how many days it can operate without resupply...this has all the room and features of my real pack, just made for different purposes. There is quite a bit more space available in here, for what is mostly about comfort and range when traveling on two feet, and a full compartment dedicated to electronic equipment and food and water, plus ample room in another two (for different purpose)... I use the larger front pouch for items of most regular access and occasional reconfiguration. Aesthetically I'm quite happy as well. It seems built very well and quite sturdy. On initial usage I noticed it can seem heavy, if not really weight it carries. I don't see this as anything to take away from the utility. There are much lighter weight alternatives that are also less capable. The overall layout seems very good, especially the top pouch which offers the greatest convenience for carrying things in and out, while all compartments open very nicely, including both end pouches, which could use an interior pouch to improve on them but aren't essential in any way, given their capability. Really like the design, though of a number of the MOLLE attachment points, none is on this specific pack. For someone in this range it offers a great balance of carrying capability and weight without going so much heavier and bulkier as one would go with many bigger/more complicated packs, while adding in the MOLLE attachment system. As to quality I have a feeling I will not get the impression it's going to fall apart any time soon. If you're on the smaller end of this bag's overall capacity and also like to have enough MOLLE webbing for additional bags and pouches... this should do the job just fine. As well I'm planning on taking a 250ml Camelback to give me a little bit more range in fluid storage. For this application I'm going to be away from cars for several hours in hilly terrain, with weather being potentially hot and possibly even cool, with this sort of space, food, and electronic resupply, so I'm very pleased to see a backpack this large

Review by Keepshooting Customer
The only bag that is as great as this bag is it has a metal snap on it. This does not last forever as others that are plastic. I have this bag for 5+ years and it is going on year 6, I travel the country for my job with it. Only problem is with a wax coating and I do recommend getting this in tan as tan shows more dirt.

This backpack has a lot of room for me. I was skeptical at first because I had a military grade molle backpack but this one feels really sturdy and has more pockets and more compartments than my other bag so for that I would say is the same quality. Very happy so far. I am going to buy another for another purpose.

Great backpack for the price I think for my needs and many uses this is a great buy it was not that bad getting here as the shipping time was pretty decent for an international order but I'm satisfied with this backpack would recommend this for any who needs a mid sized bag or even a bag for hiking/backpacking the bag is quite spacious I was thinking about this since last year and finally made the decision to buy it and so far I am pretty happy that I made this choice as it serves my different needs very well but overall its quite heavy to carry a long time. I hope that the zippers and straps will last as I use this backpack daily in some form.
