Mira Safety HAZ-SUIT Protective CBRN Hazmat Suit

Good purchase for any bug out bag. Looks durable

A must have in our family's earthquake preparedness supply. Our 3yr old is fascinated with the mask, but the fit is just a bit big on him, but he is still intrigued by it. It fits him a bit loose and the rubber ties around the neck make it easier for us. My 6 & 8 yr olds can put it on and get it off easily. It has lots of ventilation and does not make them feel claustrophobic. I do feel confident in our family's protection with these suits. I will purchase again when we need more and have already told a few people to get them for their family's protection too.

This has become such a global health risk I have 4 for my 3 kids and 3 for myself I would rather be ready for nothing and have nothing happen but sadly that’s not what we’re living in these times thank God for people like us 4 Stars all around for customer service speed as expected I don’t see this having any negative effect

It’s well made and comfortable. And light weight for what it is, the shoulders, chest and waist section are connected with an elasticated material so as not to rub against your body if worn over body armor or even without it as you don’t have to keep pulling it away.

It's not worth my effort and your probably asking yourself why would anyone care but a small trigger might ruin the fabric over time with prolonged exposure to those. My purpose is extreme and this should last decades without major signs of wear unless something crazy happen like spilling liquid hydrogen on it or being buried for a decade in some contaminated soil. Good product with very thick, comfortable material. Recommend using face mask if your in some kind of bad situation that has airborne contaminants. Otherwise keep it simple and use a decent fitting mask that fits close to your face.

I purchased this as an extra in my hazmat kit for use when decontaminating in case of nerve agents. These work great for wiping surfaces down. I just wash them out with my regular wash and hang to dry. I am very pleased with the product. It works great for removing contaminants. They work great for me in addition to a decontamination unit.

Not what I was expecting for a "Hazzmat suit

As a radiation professional these fit the job description. Very comfortable to operate in during routine and non routine operations. Not an imitation either, and if these aren't rated for NBC, don't know what would be. Great set. Good fit for all builds and provides ease of use and storage with MOLLE. Bought two sets for each kid and they're still too big, lol, so this fits a variety of people. Love it. Not afraid to walk into any situation wearing one of these!

N/A as I received a package with two of these for a family. Great product and was happy to be able to give them to family members as a way to be prepared.

I haven't worn them, yet. I'm very satisfied with my purchase, and my wife was also impressed. It's hard to imagine anything negative about them, so I won't even go there. My previous order of suits was NOT from this vendor. The first set I got was a Chinese brand called Auxotec, they're still sitting in their packaging in the closet. I don't have a lot of faith in them, because they seem very cheaply made, especially in comparison to the Mira set. This order is also my last. If these suits turn out to be quality suits, then I will be satisfied. I may even get rid of my older "Auxotec" suits. I think I'll just hang onto them for awhile and see how these work out. It seems to me that with the things that are going on around the world today, we're gonna see more instances of "Contamination" occurring, (and if that's the case), then I'll have a need for them. As a sidelight: There's an online vendor, whose slogan is "Gear for life". They're kind of like REI for tactical/hiking clothing and such. I've bought a lot of good gear from them. They don't seem to have any kind of suits, but maybe they'll come out with some at some point. It's also very satisfying to do business with companies that are as good as their word.

So I ordered this because there were only two colors left and that I love my camo pattern, what I did not know was the quality was AWESOME! I have been looking for years to find the mask that worked with an NBC Mask Filtration system. So, when this was the case, I knew it was time to get one! My dad gave me a pair that worked but they looked clumsy, but the bag this came in was awesome! Very heavy duty zippers and stitching, and the design was nice too. I would highly recommend to my fellow first responders and people looking for NBC protection! 9/10 and a must buy for those like myself looking for good NBC protection in your pack!

I keep one of these in my go bag, it's well worth the money. Good value

This item was a birthday gift for a firefighter in our family. Great item! High quality.! He wore it for safety at the Academy. Hope he never needs it! Great product and good quality.! 4X is too large for most grown men. Hope your's isn't as tall as he is and 3X fits you!

The suit came as advertised, high quality materials and works as intended. A small price for peace of mind. This is a disposable item, do not plan on wearing it for decades.

Looks like you're going to have to suit up! ;) Seriously this is an incredible piece of equipment that has a million plus usages. If you don't have one of these then stop thinking and buy one. The only reason I took off a star is that it is more bulky than it looks in the picture but for the type of piece of equipment it is totally worth the weight. I plan on having several of these suits for when and if I ever need them. Highly recommend. Thanks for reading

The Fukushima disaster has my husband interested in Nuclear Emergency Protection Gear, as it should have you if it does not already. The fact that I have two boys under 12 is another consideration, not so my younger one is more curious and ask more questions about things like this…! The MIRAsafety Chemical Hazmat is designed for 8 hours protection from Nuclear, biological and chemical contamination, in an NBC protective atmosphere (for this I checked the description). Its disposable, meaning it’s single use only (meaning to throw it away, once it has been used for one occasion, so as to protect those that might be exposed afterwards), has 2 zippers and a self-sealing liquid valve to prevent the penetration of any hazardous liquids. A respirator and mask with eye and nose shield (to use under it), is not provided, so it might be better if you know what size to buy (they come with the kit). A mask is important, as it’s not only to avoid to be infected, but for others that may come in contact with it as well, once the first protective layer is damaged or torn. This protective layer may come in handy if you work in an environment where there is the risk of exposure to hazardous chemicals or contaminants, to protect against vapors, dusts, mists, splashes, sprays and contact with surfaces that may be contaminated.

The day we got them I decided to do a test run in them by spraying a small bottle of detergent into my kitchen sink that I hadn't cleaned yet, that turned out to be a big mistake. By the time I got out of the Hazmat suit it was like trying to get clean with oil rags, if it had a residue on it, the hazmat suit got it. This is an absolutely fantastic suit and if there was ever a zombie apocalypse this suit will keep you going for a while. There is also a great company out there called emergency essentials. They sell things like dried out meat, dried fruits, etc. This company is amazing they sent us two packs of dehydrated veggies and fruit, but one pack was not in its own sealed bags and all 300 plus individual packets had exploded and mixed together with each other. I gave the jumbled mess to the neighbors cat, that seemed to please them. So we are sending them back and hope to replace them with better packaged ones. I will also update this as I go along, If the suit survives I will add pictures. But in all seriousness these suits are amazing I have tried many out there and I must say this one beats them all. If you have a nice basement or under ground area where the power will stay on in the event of a zombie apocalypse and your looking for extra storage then this suit is a good option to go with. They have extra storage options available on the mira site for these suits. You just slide them in the front like a snow plow on a snow plow. So just like when you go to Walmart and pick up the extra bread you need to make a mean when zombies over run your world you will be prepared to take them out. With this suit you are going to last.

Perfectly designed to allow you to work around uncontaminated hazards. When finished with the contamination you just remove the mask, wash the front of the suit, pull off the contaminated section, re-insert the front and proceed to finish your task with the new uncontaminated suit. I recommend 2 suit so that you have a clean suit for finishing a contaminated surface. Highly recommended. Note: No ratings for Smell Resistance because, with such a fine hazmat suit it does not have a unpleasant smell.

Fits great, comfortable, has all the pockets you need. I would recommend this suit. I just wish the rubber was a tad thicker. But I feel it would make the suit more bulky and make it heavier to be packed in your gear. If the suit fits, buy it! Very happy with my purchase! Thank you, Brian Maitlen.

My son is in Cub Scouts and has been doing experiments that are toxic. We wanted something that he could wear in case of any accidents and I was pleasantly surprised with this suit! It arrived quickly and the material seems very durable.

As described. It is a true mira 4x suit but as a used, or previously opened item, there are scratches on the suit as shown in the photos provided by seller. Overall it was what I expected.

The material feels and wears great! I love the face mask included. But if you have an extra wide head you might have to use a lunch pail as I couldn't get it on properly because of the hardening of the head band on the suit. It didn't allow the suit head band to move freely. The 2 sizes provided was way off. I was about an 8 on the M, and it was a perfect fit. As a plus I have a hard time putting anything on me over my head because of a skull fracture I had years ago, so this was great for that! great product, better for bigger/ husky guys. The sizing chart provided is for people with normal or skinny skulls

Very durable. Doesn't breathe well, however, but that is to be expected from a suit like this. For use in cold/hot environments and/or use in situations where hazardous materials may be present. This suit should be enough for most emergency situations. For long term/regular usage I would recommend purchasing another, lighter hazmat suit. You could probably wear this thing 24/7 for a month and it would probably be good to go.

We bought these as bug out bags. You just never know what you’ll need. They fit as expected and seem durable enough for the zipper and velcro tabs. We put them in our basement just in case. I can’t wait to try them on!

Wear these on HAZMAT response calls and other training. These are excellent products and really don't get warm at all in the Florida sun. Will order again when the supply gets low.
