The Mira Safety CM-7M is a full-face respirator built for CBRN defense, meaning protection against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear hazards. It was designed with special forces and police units in mind, and it suits anyone building a serious preparedness kit. Twin filter ports, a drinking system and a speech diaphragm let you breathe, drink and talk without breaking the seal.

• Dual 40mm NATO Filter Ports — Threaded ports on each cheek take the 40mm NATO-standard filters used by most military and civilian canisters, so you can mount a filter on whichever side suits your rifle shoulder, or on both.
• Bromobutyl Rubber Facepiece — Bromobutyl is a synthetic rubber chosen for its resistance to chemical agents soaking through it, and it stays flexible enough to seal against the face.
• Integrated Drinking System — A drinking tube behind the front cover connects to a compatible canteen or a CamelBak water bladder, so you can drink while the mask stays on.
• Speech Diaphragm — The front-mounted diaphragm carries your voice through the mask so commands and radio calls stay clear.
• Anti-Fog Inner Mask — A hypoallergenic inner nose cup directs exhaled air away from the eyepieces, which cuts fogging and reduces CO2 buildup inside the mask.

Build And Standards

The CM-7M weighs about 17.6 oz (500 g) and is made in three sizes to fit different face shapes. Because the ports follow the 40mm NATO thread, you are not locked into one brand of filter, which matters when you are stocking spares. The front valve assembly, side ports and harness buckles are all molded black, so the mask presents a single, uniform color.
