MSAP Cummerbund Assembly
The MSAP Cummerbund Assembly is the wrap-around side component of the Modular Supplemental Armor Protection kit, designed to install on MSAP and MBAV plate carriers. Constructed from 1000D Cordura, it adds rows of MOLLE/PALS webbing around the torso for mounting magazine pouches, radios, IFAKs, and other essential gear, while integrated side pockets accept 6x6 soft armor or hard side plates. The assembly anchors at the rear of the carrier, wraps around the wearer, and secures under the front flap for a stable, adjustable fit. Built to military specification, it's a direct fit for operators running an MBAV/MSAP platform who need expanded load capacity and side plate coverage.

- Adjustable Sizing — Hook-and-loop attachment allows the wearer to dial in torso circumference for body armor layering and load changes.

Got this to replace my worn-out cummerbund on my plate carrier.Used these in the service, happy to find genuine surplus available. The cummerbund integrates perfectly with my MSAP setup. The elastic retention is still strong, and all the velcro is in great shape. Much better than the knockoff versions floating around.
Pro tip: if you're having trouble threading it through tight spaces, use a coat hanger to guide it through.
