Just what I wanted and fit well.

This boonie has two advantages: good ventilation & nice wide brim. The net on the front is thinner and may have less shade, but seems strong enough to hold it's shape well. Not cheap Chinese junk but military spec quality. If you don't need mosquito protection, consider a baseball style mesh or straw hat.

Fits a little tight. The fabric is thin, which works well in Florida. My one critique is that the sides of the hat should be a bit higher, I feel like there's some heat from the top that goes to my head.

It is good for its price, not exactly quality but for a price it does what I need. The pattern is cool and lightweight

I love it. I got it big and am going to try to take it to my local laundry. I am not sure how that will go but if it does then this product gets a double thumbs up. If it doesn't, I'll just wash and hang it to shrink.

My only dislike is that it is not deep enough to fit my very large Chinese Praying Mantis, but that's on me. Great fit, roomy, light and durable. 1 size up to be safe

I bought this for some sun protection. The pattern was a close match to the Woodland camo I wear, and it's lightweight construction makes it easy to pack. I was a little disappointed in the adjustable straps as the two ends don't reach all the way around, so the brim is slightly taller on one side than the other.

Item as described, will be a great tool in keeping me shaded on our trip to south east Asia. Thanks

Excellent hat, size is accurate, hat brim stiff but not uncomfortable.

Boonie hats are good hats. Just buy a size smaller than you need. Don't like the little tabs at the bottom to tighten it, so it comes loose, like it should.

Aaaah the feel and taste of REAL mil-spec. Fit as expected for 7" or 7.25" head. Sewing is very sound. Looks and feels of similar boonies in the service in the '80s. Will last a life time, no reason not to. Hope I don't ever need this in a life threatening survival capacity as a tool or shield. However, I do like what it can do and that is enough to appreciate its robust functionality. A better "feel good" head gear you cannot buy, any day of the week. I don't expect it would need cleaning or replacement often if it gets banged around and saturated, etc. This one, is good. Just my $... In time of need, as it is for pleasure. We are grateful, indeed, for what is in hand, as long as we have time to enjoy it and have not had cause to use it to preserve life, yet. God willing, I will be tested on neither of those fronts.
