The Szco Polymer Tire Thumper is a straight, one-piece baton made for a trucker's pre-trip walkaround. You strike each tire and listen: a properly inflated tire gives a firm bounce, while a soft or flat one sounds dull and gives under the blow. Drivers, fleet mechanics and anyone towing a trailer use one to check a full set of duals quickly without kneeling at every valve stem with a gauge.

Features

• Polymer Construction — The shaft is molded polymer, so it will not rust or chip paint the way a steel bar can, and it shrugs off road grime and rain.
• Ribbed Grip Section — Deep circular ribs along the handle give your fingers something to lock into, even when you are wearing work gloves or your hands are wet.
• Flared Hand Stop — A raised collar where the grip meets the shaft keeps your hand from sliding forward when the thumper hits a tire.
• Flared Butt Cap — A wider knob at the end of the handle keeps the grip from slipping out the back of your hand on the swing.

Build and Handling

Szco shapes the thumper as a single piece: a smooth tapering shaft, a ribbed handle set between two flared stops, and a lanyard anchored through the end cap.
