Expandable Keychain Baton

Keychain Baton

The Szco Expandable Keychain Baton is a compact telescoping baton that hangs from your key ring and measures 5.5 inches closed. When you need reach, its two inner sections slide out of the handle to an expanded length of 12 inches. It suits people who want a self-defense tool that rides with their keys instead of in a holster or bag.

Features

• 5.5-Inch Closed Length — Collapsed, the baton is about the length of a palm, small enough to carry on a keychain or in a pocket.
• 12-Inch Expanded Length — Fully extended, it more than doubles its closed length.
• Three-Section Telescoping Design — Telescoping means the two narrower shafts nest inside the handle and slide out end to end when deployed.
• Knurled Handle — A fine cross-hatched texture cut into the grip gives your hand purchase, even when your palm is sweaty or cold.
• Key Ring With Swivel Bail — A split ring on a swivel loop at the cap lets you add the baton directly to your existing keys.
• Capped Tip — The end of the final section carries a wider cap that finishes the striking end.
• Black Finish — The handle, shafts and end caps are all black, keeping the baton low-key on a key ring.

Size And Carry

Closed, the whole baton sits inside the knurled handle, so what you carry looks like a short black cylinder on a key ring. Open, the handle stays in your hand while the stepped shafts give you 12 inches of total length. Baton carry laws vary by state and city, so check the rules where you live before carrying one.
