I got the black because it's easier to cut with hand shears. It cuts pretty clean and even without any rope trimmings to burn off. Very good in strong wind and for creating tent weights when backpacking. You could also hang gear or clothes on it. It seems fairly strong and is easy to store. It also has a low amount of plastic in it which is good for compost.

What a useful tool this little gadget is! So handy for so many projects and always on hand for repairs around the house. The price is right too! Love it! It's easy to cut with scissors and I have 6 different colors. They are very durable. I highly recommend this product.

I have a slip in boat and wanted a better way to attach a strap to the deck without using a winch. I just slide the rope through the eye and pull it tight, simple and effective. This also works great as a makeshift rope braid handle when building tiki huts on the lake.
