a family member gave this as a gift and it was a hit. It has saved us a lot of money because we don't have to replace it as often. It doesn't seem as sturdy as a 550 nylon cord, but I am going to test it. It comes out very smoothly from the canister.

If you cut it like 1 in long, just fold it over and double wrap. It’s very thin, and easy to do. Once it’s doubled up, pull hard and take the knife or scissors and snip. This is what happens. The end is doubled over and has cut edges on the end. Just run it under the rope. When I first tried it out I pulled too hard and cut all the way thru, this just created a mess.

Great tool to have on hand in the shop. Can reach in drawer and have rope out and cut to length with the scissors inside package. No twisting screw cap. Just rip open, and start tying!
