Great M65 field jacket for the outdoors, with a great liner to go along with it. The parka comes to just below my belt line, and the hood can come down just past my shoulders for extra protection. Very nice product and excellent service and shipping from Amazon!

I got a men's medium. My size in men's shirts. This jacket is great! Lots of space and room for warm clothing. Sleeves a tad long. Thick and cozy and comfortable and perfect warmth.

The first time I ordered this, it didn't fit. The second time I was much more aware of the sizing and I ordered an XS. I usually wear an XS/S and ordered an XS again because I read the sizing chart and saw the XXS would be way too big. I'm 5'10 and around 150 pounds and the XS fits great. The zipper looks great and I really like the style of this jacket.

I am a tall thin woman, which I knew before ordering. That is important because the jacket seems very baggy and bulky. I ordered the extra small and have to take it in. It was a large, it arrived at least a month early, I am very pleased.

Just like the jacket I wore in Nam. Well, not exactly. But very close. I love it. Good insulation for up to 40 degree days and will go to 50's or low 60's.

I have bought three Rothco M-65 field jackets now, and I have to say that they are by far the best jackets I have ever owned. Very well constructed, they look just like my military issue ones, but with the extra bonus of a full zipper instead of a button. My other favorite part is that the liner comes off. I am in Ohio and the winters can get quite cold, and the liner is nice to have when it gets into the single digits. I love this jacket, but you have to know what you are looking for if you want to order one. It is oversized, as I knew it would be. I am a small female, 5'2" with an athletic build, and normally I would order a small in a jacket, but I know the oversized fit of the military jackets, and wanted that in a civilian jacket. The M-65's come with so much extra room, that they are much more forgiving. The fit and finish is perfect, I am very pleased with my jacket. The liner is made from very soft nylon, and fits well inside the jacket as well. I can't say enough good things about these jackets.

Ordered 3xlarge fits perfect just like in my 70's days, I love it !!!! Made very well as usual. Mills clothing are awesome!! Thin in cool weather to put under another coat in cold weather, well made all pockets button. Only thing that I did was remove the snaps that went on the pockets because it was just like the ones that came with the military in the 70's !!!! FYI you can always add snap in kits. You cannot tell by the 1 picture that it's not a rip stop, which is really nice in the fall weather when there's cool breezy weather that might bring rain. I got it before it was late and shipping charges was the best deal ever. Just order the right size and thank you Rothco for making this perfect M65 for men. Great work once again !!!!! Bought this for my hubby. He loves it. This was a perfect replacement. I bought the Army for an older XL. I was very worried about how it would fit him in the shoulders. It fits him well and actually fit better then the old one. He can't stop talking about how warm it is. We live on the mountains so when it gets chilly we get windy days as well. This is the best jacket for us at the best price I could find.

The parka arrived with one button loose and the fabric at the bottom was uneven but other than that it was great! Warm and waterproof

Very warm. Love the big buttons. It's comfortable in many ways, very flexible. It does fit very well. A great jacket. I wear this in very cold and windy weather all the time.

After two disappointing field jackets from another source. A glowing referral from another forum led me to the "real deal"...this Rothco jacket. It was everything I was hoping for. However when it arrived...the zipper pulls were off by several centimeters...enough to make the jacket virtually unusable! In seconds I received an email from the seller apologizing and offering to have it sent back at no cost to me...even giving me an alternate shipping address! This type of outstanding customer service (even though it wasn't the seller's fault) was exactly what I needed to see in a company in these crazy times. Within 24 hours I had received a replacement...all was right with the world again! (The jacket was the same, however they added two pen pockets on the inside flaps!) And...when I got to use the new jacket...the company sent me an upgrade (the original black to coyote brown) and didn't charge me for the shipping! This company really made me a lifetime customer! Rothco M-65 Jacket...goes well with just about anything...goes with anything in your pockets!

Love it. My only suggestion would be to replace velcro on top of collar. Very cheap and only on back. Could come apart at the worst moment. I would have gladly paid extra for better one

i purchased this coat for a school project on the civil war, the sizing is very accurate and i am very pleased with this jacket!

bought this as a casual jacket for mild to cold days. fits me fine, just slightly too big for a sized jacket, other than that it's good quality and nice and toasty. one more thing i'd like to add is if your not familiar with the color olive green it looks a lot darker than it appears in the picture. like dark forest green

I have the exact jacket this one is made to resemble. The shell is cotton and has a similar feel to it. Although a good knock off, a little extra material in the arms would be a great improvement and would put this closer to the one it is trying to resemble. It will work in a pinch, but just know that it is only half of what it is advertised to be. Good thing the original weighs 500gr and this knock off comes in at a reasonable 350 grams. That extra weight does make a difference. Good wind resistance. I love the snaps on the wrists, especially. A must have when it is colder. I like it, just know that it isn't the real thing, if that is what you are looking for.

Jacket is comfortable and does a good job of protecting you from rain, sleet and cold temps. Only con I have is the pockets are a bit too small and don't have much velcro holding them closed. I have a lot of stuff that gets left behind.

The medium fits as expected (US sizes), 5" 10, 160 lbs. Warm and comfortable. Very retro look, I like it a lot. Really cool piece of kit.

It is heavy, thick, comfy, and overall really well made. There is enough room in the jacket and it can be worn over a thermal shirt and a t-shirt. Also the buttons on the jacket feel like they will last forever. This was my main purchase for the winter and I have no doubt that I will be able to make it through in style. Recommend for the money and people looking for a thick warm coat.

As a Vietnam Vet and military person I am always impressed with quality when I receive it! Well, the jacket is everything that I wanted. Very nice and good to wear. I think you'll like it too!
