Immediately after installation of the BX Trigger you will notice the improved trigger pull. On a standard 10/22 trigger, the trigger pull will release at 6lbs with the new BX Trigger the release is a crisp and light 2.5 - 3lbs.     i heard there are even lighter triggers, but this one works great for me. the feel is crisp and short and only marginal pressure needs to apply. i have rifles with lighter triggers but those are for target shooting, this one is very adequate for 10/22, having fun and plinking. <br />i have 2 of 10/22 so i upgraded both of them with these triggers.<br />good job ruger

    This trigger is a very nice upgrade from the stock trigger & Ruger should make this the stock trigger. Once I got my 10/22 dialed in I hit a quarter-sized target 9 out of 10 shots from 50 yards and I was never able to do that with the stock trigger.
