Ruger 10/22 5-Round Magazine

Factory 5-Round 10/22 Mag

This is Ruger's own 5-round rotary magazine for the 10/22 and other Ruger rimfires chambered in .22 LR. A five-shot magazine makes sense where local rules cap capacity for hunting, for training new shooters a few rounds at a time, or simply as a compact spare. It is a factory part made by Sturm, Ruger & Co., so it is built to the same pattern as the magazine your rifle was designed around.

Features

• .22 LR Chambering — Holds .22 Long Rifle rimfire cartridges, the standard small-game and plinking round for the 10/22.
• 5-Round Capacity — Five cartridges per load, useful where hunting regulations limit magazine size or when you want shorter strings of fire.
• Rotary Feed Design — Cartridges sit in a spring-driven rotor that turns to present each round in line with the chamber, which helps rimfire rounds feed without the rims snagging on one another.
• Steel-Reinforced Feed Lips — Metal lips at the top of the magazine guide each cartridge into the action and resist the wear that plastic lips alone would take.
• Polymer Body — The housing is molded polymer, light and unaffected by rust.
• High-Visibility Red Follower — A red follower shows through the feed opening, so you can see at a glance when the magazine is empty.
• Matte Black Finish — A plain black finish that matches standard 10/22 stocks and furniture.
• Genuine Ruger Part — Manufacturer part number 90041, made by Ruger for its own rifles and pistols.

Compatibility

The magazine fits the Ruger 10/22 rifle, the 22 Charger pistol, the American Rimfire in .22 LR, and the 77/22 in .22 LR. It loads from the top through the feed lips, and the end cap is held by a hex screw on the side for disassembly and cleaning. If you already run Ruger's 10-round rotary magazines, this one inserts and releases the same way.
