This is Ruger's own 6-round magazine for the LCP II, the compact .380 ACP pistol many people carry every day. A spare means a reload on your belt or in a pocket, and it lets you rotate magazines so you aren't loading the same one over and over. It is built to the same specifications and tolerances as the magazine that ships with the pistol.

Features

• 6-Round Capacity — Holds six cartridges, the same count as the factory magazine supplied with the LCP II.
• .380 ACP Chambering — Feeds .380 ACP, also sold as .380 Auto, and the caliber is stamped on the body.
• Blued Steel Body — The tube is steel with a bluing finish, a chemical treatment that darkens the metal and helps it resist rust.
• Numbered Witness Holes — Holes marked 2 through 6 on the body show how many rounds are loaded without emptying the magazine.
• Finger Rest Floorplate — An extended, textured baseplate gives your little finger somewhere to sit on the short grip of a pocket pistol.
• Last-Round Hold-Open — On the LCP II, the follower holds the slide open after the final shot so you know the gun is empty.
• Original LCP Compatible — The magazine also fits first-generation Ruger LCP pistols.
• Made In Italy — The body is marked Made in Italy along with the Ruger logo.

Fit And Build

This magazine is made for the Ruger LCP II and uses the same materials and manufacturing as the magazine packed with the pistol, so it should seat and lock up the same way. It also works in the original LCP. The slide hold-open after the last round is an LCP II function. For an everyday carry gun, a factory magazine is the reliable choice for a spare.
