This is Ruger's own 4-round magazine for its .44 Magnum bolt guns, the 77/44 bolt-action rifle and the 99/44 Deerfield carbine. A spare lets you keep a second magazine loaded in your pocket or pack, or replace one that has been lost or worn out. Hunters who use the 77/44 for deer in brush country and straight-wall cartridge states are the usual buyers.

Fit And Construction

The magazine fits the Ruger 77/44 bolt-action rifle and the 99/44 Deerfield carbine chambered in .44 Remington Magnum. It is detachable, with a black polymer shell around the rotor assembly and a bright stainless steel top where the feed lips sit. A hex-head screw sits in the rounded end of the body. Check that your rifle is one of the two models above before ordering, since Ruger rotary magazines are made in different sizes for different cartridges.
