OCP Combat Uniform Pants

The Tru-Spec Scorpion OCP Army Combat Uniform Pants are built to the same pattern and specification as the trousers soldiers and airmen wear on duty. They come in Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP), the brown, tan and green camouflage that replaced the old digital ACU pattern and is approved for U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force wear. Choose them if you need regulation-correct uniform pants, or if you want hard-wearing field trousers with plenty of pocket space for training, hunting or range days.

• OCP Scorpion W2 Pattern — The camouflage is Operational Camouflage Pattern, originally codenamed Scorpion W2, which the Army began moving to in 2014 and adopted officially in 2019.
• NYCO Ripstop Fabric — A 50/50 nylon and cotton blend woven with a reinforcing grid, so a small snag cannot spread into a long tear.
• CL-8 CORDURA Construction — The pants use CL-8 CORDURA fabric with a vat dye, a dyeing process that bonds color deep into the fibers so it holds up to repeated washing.
• Built To GL/PD 14-05A — Made to the published U.S. military specification for this garment rather than a loose commercial interpretation of it.
• Eight Pockets — Two front pockets, two button-flap rear pockets, two button-flap cargo pockets and two button-flap lower leg pockets give you room for a phone, notebook, gloves and small tools.
• Slanted Cargo Pocket Flaps — The angled flaps on the thigh cargo pockets close with buttons and are easier to reach when you are standing or kneeling.
• Reinforced Knees And Seat — Extra fabric layers sit where trousers wear through first, so kneeling and sitting on rough ground does less damage.
• Button Fly And Trouser Waistband — A traditional button fly and trouser-style waistband with seven belt loops keep a duty or riggers belt secure.
• Crease And Wrinkle Resistant — The fabric resists creasing, so the pants look presentable straight out of a pack or locker.

Fabric and Specification

Tru-Spec makes these pants from nylon-cotton ripstop. The nylon adds abrasion resistance and the cotton keeps the fabric breathable against the skin. Because they follow GL/PD 14-05A and carry the issued OCP pattern, they match Army and Air Force OCP uniform tops and suit service members who need a correct replacement pair. Civilians get the same cut and pocket layout as the issued uniform pants.
