The Tru-Spec Gen-2 Adjustable Boonie is a wide-brim field hat built to keep sun and rain off your face, ears and neck. It comes in OCP Scorpion camo to match current US Army uniforms and kit. Soldiers, hunters, range shooters and hikers wear it when a ball cap leaves too much skin exposed.

Build And Fit

Tru-Spec makes this boonie as a commercial version of the military pattern: a soft crown, a full brim, a foliage band and a chin cord. The cotton and nylon fabric folds into a pack or cargo pocket and springs back when you put it on. Because the fit adjusts, it works with or without a hood or shemagh underneath.
