Desert Sand Shemagh Desert Scarf

The color scheme was what I wanted. The pattern is very breathable, it wicks the sweat off your face and doesn't trap the heat inside.

Perfect to blend in on camping.

These are not like your flimsy scarves, good quality material and good for a warmth layer in the cold or cool weather, but is warm in the cold temps. Its also nice in a variety of weather, from hot and dry desert areas to the freezing tundra. For the wimps out there, it won't make you look like Rambo, so don't buy it if that is your goal, but if you are looking for good quality at a fair price, this is the item for you! Not only do I own one of these, I've got a couple of my family members using mine as well!

Great for airsoft out in the wilderness. Coyotes are smart and find our resupply points. Need something to cover face while getting shot. They work well in cold and wet snow/ rain

It is just what I wanted, a cheap scarf, with good colors, doesn't smell, is comfortable. I like this scarf so much that I bought a second one for myself in the future. You could buy more than one if you wanted to but you probably wouldn't. You could buy more then one if you were going on a survival adventure in the desert but other than that just buy one and see if you like it, you probably will. This is my second and I still have my first, and I have not yet had any troubles with it. 1st Review- Its comfortable to use. Nice design. Color wise it's very pleasing. I am overall happy with it but i do think its slightly too big. Its probably the right size for someone who doesn't have a head too small or too big. I would reccomend it to someone in their twenties. I'd still recommend it to a child who doesn't know how big their head is, just use a tie-string to tighten it. 4-10 age range or so? Just my guess though. Update- Bought the black one today. It fits better than the red one, so I'd suggest if you want a quality scarf, but if you are worried about if it will fit. Go with this color. My other scarf I got in my first order was fine and i still use it but if I could get a scarf like this one again i would buy it again in a hearbeat. Its a decent scarf. Great quality as far as what you get. You will have to hand wash in cold water to remove all of the weird sand-like stuff. And make sure you air dry it. 30 min of direct sunlight or so and you should be ok, also use only wool dryer balls. Also i reccomend soaking the cloth part in fabric softener before you wear it for 24 hrs. This will soften the weave of the fabric. The fabric has a rough, cotton feeling. When you first get it, wash it in colder water with wool dryer balls, fabric softener soaked cloth, hang dry. Will still shrink a little. After 24 hours you can now air dry, wear it for 24

The Shemagh is very nice and light and comfortable, its perfect for fall. It also is large enough to wrap up in, great to have in a bug out bag. This is definitely one to have for when things get cold, you'll want to use this as an additional blanket in a hurry.
