Full-Size .22 LR Pistol

The SIG SAUER P322 is a .22 LR pistol with the size and controls of a full-size centerfire handgun. It weighs 17.1 ounces and shoots inexpensive rimfire ammunition, so it works well for practice, plinking, teaching new shooters and training on red dot optics. This 322CBAS10 configuration ships with a 10+1 capacity, meaning ten rounds in the magazine plus one in the chamber.

• .22 LR Chambering — Fires .22 Long Rifle rimfire cartridges, which have light recoil and cost far less per round than 9mm.

• Optics-Ready Slide — Remove the rear sight plate to mount a red dot that uses the Shield RMSc footprint, the screw and recess pattern shared by many compact optics.
• Fiber Optic Front Sight — A green fiber optic rod gathers ambient light so the front sight stands out against the target, paired with an adjustable rear sight.
• Single Action Trigger — The trigger performs one job, releasing the striker, which keeps the pull short and consistent from shot to shot.
• Interchangeable Trigger Shoes — Flat and curved trigger shoes are both included, so you can choose the face that suits your finger placement.
• Ambidextrous Controls — The manual safety and slide release work from either side, and the magazine release can be reversed for left-handed shooters.
• Accessory Rail — A slotted rail under the dust cover accepts a weapon light or laser.
• Hard Coat Anodized Finish — The slide has a black hard coat anodized finish, an electrochemically hardened surface layer that resists wear and corrosion.

Build and Dimensions

The P322 measures 7 inches long, 5.5 inches tall and 1.4 inches wide, close to many full-size duty pistols. That lets you practice grip, draw and sight picture on the same kind of frame you would use with a centerfire gun. The grip carries an aggressive stippled texture, and the slide has serrations front and rear for a sure hold when you rack it.
