Factory Shield Magazine

This is the factory Smith & Wesson 7-round magazine for the 9mm M&P Shield, the slim single-stack pistol that many people choose for everyday concealed carry. Its flush floor plate sits level with the bottom of the grip, so the pistol stays as short as the factory intended and prints less under a shirt. Carry it as a spare, swap it in for a worn magazine, or add it to the rotation for range days.

• 9mm Luger Chambering — Built for 9x19mm cartridges, the same round sold as 9mm Luger or 9mm Parabellum, and marked 9mm on the body.
• 7-Round Capacity — Holds seven rounds in a single stack, one cartridge directly on top of the next, which keeps the magazine thin enough for the Shield's narrow grip.
• Stainless Steel Body — The tube is stainless steel, which resists rust from sweat and humidity better than blued steel when it rides close to the body all day.
• Stainless Steel Wire Spring — The spring that pushes rounds up to the chamber is also stainless, so it holds up against corrosion inside the tube.
• Numbered Witness Holes — Holes marked 3 through 7 let you see how many rounds are loaded without stripping the magazine.
• Polymer Follower — The follower, the piece that sits under the bottom round and guides it upward, is molded polymer.

Fit And Construction

This magazine is designed for the 9mm M&P Shield and M&P Shield M2.0 pistols. It will not work in the Shield EZ or in any .40 S&W Shield model, so check the caliber and model stamped on your slide before ordering. Because it comes from Smith & Wesson, the dimensions, feed lips and catch slot match what shipped with the gun.
