Space Shuttle Door Gunner Morale Patch

Space Shuttle Door Gunner

This Mil-Spec Monkey morale patch shows a suited astronaut manning a heavy door gun from the hatch of a spacecraft, under a banner that reads SPACE SHUTTLE DOOR GUNNER. The joke is aimed at anyone who inflates their old job title or war stories past the point of believability. It's made for the loop panels on packs, hats and plate carriers, and it gives your kit some humor without adding bulk.

Features

• Molded PVC Construction — The patch is cast in flexible PVC, a rubbery plastic that holds raised detail and shrugs off rain and dirt better than thread.
• Raised 3D Artwork — The astronaut, gun barrel and banner lettering stand in relief, so the design reads clearly at a glance.
• Grayscale Colorway — Black, gray and white tones keep the patch low-key on dark, gray or neutral gear.
• Hook Backing — The back carries the stiff hook half of a hook-and-loop fastener, which grips any soft loop-faced panel.
• Fits Loop Panels — It attaches to the loop fields found on plate carriers, backpacks, tactical caps and similar gear.
• Contoured Die-Cut Shape — The outline follows the banner and artwork instead of a plain rectangle or circle.
• Mil-Spec Monkey Design — The artwork is an original from Mil-Spec Monkey, a maker known for humor-driven morale patches.

PVC Build And Backing

PVC patches keep their shape and color through wet weather and repeated handling, and you can wipe them clean. Because the patch uses hook backing, you can move it between a cap, a pack and a carrier in seconds. The design is also sold in other colorways and as an embroidered version, so check the photo to confirm you have the grayscale PVC patch shown here.
