I bought these pants in XL. I usually get 38-40 waist pants. Fit very good. A little big but that's because they are meant to be worn with boots. Quality of pants is excellent and I am pleased with my purchase. I will probably be buying more pairs.

So this pair of pants arrived just fine. Fit well, but a little on the long side for my taste. Lengths of 36 to 39 inches are all over the map, depending on who makes them. Still very cute, and if I had to, I'd probably use the leg parts as arm covers, and just throw a new top part together. The workmanship is pretty good, and they look just fine. For under $10, you're pretty hard up to find anything nicer. It's an unused, vintage garment. A good bet. I just wanted some to make art pieces, which is exactly what they'll do. The pants fit, no problem, with a belt, if you don't have waist quite that large, you could easily use elastic and keep them snug.
