How to Measure: Measure horizontally from end to end around the waistband for the waist. For the hip width, measure horizontally from the outside of one leg hole to the other. The inseam length can be found by measuring from the crotch down to the end of the BDU Shorts. To find the outseam length, measure from the top edge of the waistband to the bottom edge of the hem.

They run big and long but are comfy and look

They fit loose so be careful what size you get. My husband has a waist of 34 but I bought the medium and they are too big and long. My only issue with the medium size is that the leg portion goes down past his knees. He normally wears a 32 and if I got him the medium he'd have to hem them.

nice shorts but...

It's a good product but one flaw.., I wear a size large pants so, I order a size large in shorts but the front fly doesn't fit. I'm really not too sure why they are doing this, I have the original ones from way back that had this button fly and they are still around and working. I just ordered another pair with my favorite colors.., just wish they would bring back the old style shorts. All in all, they are very comfortable
