SuperNova Red Tracer is .45 ACP pistol ammunition loaded with a 225 grain full metal jacket bullet that burns bright red in flight, so you can watch the path of every shot. Shooters use tracers to check point of impact, follow their shots in low light, and make range sessions easier to read. Each box holds 20 cartridges, labeled on the box as .45 Auto, the same cartridge as .45 ACP.

• Bright Red Tracer — A pyrotechnic compound in the base of the bullet ignites on firing and leaves a visible red trace for more than 100 yards.

Load Specification

Each round pairs a 225 grain FMJ tracer bullet with a brass case and Boxer primer, rated at 1,070 feet per second. The bullet is slightly heavier than the common 230 grain ball load's lighter cousins and close enough in weight to standard .45 ACP practice ammunition that most shooters will see familiar recoil and point of impact. Tracer compound burns hot, so check your range's rules before shooting and avoid firing over dry grass or brush.
