Taser Pulse 2

Compact Civilian Taser

The Taser Pulse 2 is a pistol-shaped stun gun built by Axon for personal defense at home, in the car or on the move. It shares the basic layout of a handgun, with a grip, trigger guard and safety lever, so it points naturally and is simple to learn. The black body and high-visibility yellow cartridge make it easy to tell apart from a firearm at a glance.

Features

• Front-Loaded Cartridge — The yellow unit at the muzzle is a separate cartridge, the part that holds the probes, and it seats into the front of the housing.
• Thumb Safety Lever — A yellow lever at the rear of the frame sits beside a white indicator dot, so you can see and feel whether the device is on safe.
• Pistol-Style Trigger — A conventional trigger inside an enclosed guard keeps the operating motion familiar and protects against accidental presses.
• Textured Grip Panels — Fine ribbed texturing on the grip and forward frame gives a firmer hold with cold, wet or sweaty hands.
• Side Control Button — A round button sits on the side of the frame just behind the cartridge, within reach of the support hand.
• Lower Lens Housing — A recessed window under the cartridge sits at the front of the frame below the muzzle.
• High-Visibility Yellow Accents — Yellow on the cartridge, safety and Taser logo marks it clearly as an electrical device, not a firearm.
• Axon Branding — The frame carries the Taser Pulse 2 and Axon markings of the company that designs and builds Taser devices.

Design and Handling

The frame is a compact, squared-off polymer-style housing with a matte black finish and a short grip that fills the hand without bulk. Controls are laid out much like a pistol's: trigger under the index finger, safety under the thumb, cartridge at the muzzle. That makes the Pulse 2 straightforward for a first-time owner and familiar for anyone who already shoots. Check your state and local regulations before buying, as rules on stun guns vary by location.
