Indoor Extraction Aerosol

The Aerko International Clear Out is a non-pyrotechnic tear gas grenade built to move barricaded subjects out of rooms, vehicles and other confined spaces. Non-pyrotechnic means it has no explosive charge, fuse or burning element. It is a pressurized aerosol can that discharges a CS and OC irritant through a coiled delivery tube. The label marks it as most effective indoors, and it is intended for tactical law enforcement and corrections teams.

Features

• 1% CS / 1% OC Blend — The formula combines CS, the compound usually called tear gas, with OC, the pepper extract used in pepper spray, rated at 2 million SHU (Scoville Heat Units, the standard measure of pepper heat).
• 3-Foot Vinyl Delivery Tube — A flexible clear tube coils around the can and can be fed under a door, through a gap or into a vehicle so the operator stays outside the space being treated.
• Lock-On Total Release — Once the push-button actuator is snapped into place, it stays down and empties the entire can without anyone holding it.
• Approximately 28-Second Discharge — The can expels its full contents in roughly 28 to 30 seconds, filling an enclosed area with irritant.
• 15-Foot Effective Range — The aerosol projects about 15 feet from the outlet before dispersing.
• Non-Pyrotechnic Design — Because nothing burns, there is no fuse to light and no hot canister, which removes the fire risk of traditional burning tear gas grenades.

Formula and Delivery

The black aerosol can carries the Clear Out name with the delivery tube wrapped around its midsection, so the tube stays attached and ready during transport. Pairing CS with OC gives a two-agent irritant aimed at enclosed spaces where a burning grenade would be a fire hazard. The contents are under pressure. Do not puncture the can, and avoid storing it in a closed vehicle.
