How to Measure: Measure horizontally from end to end around the waistband for the waist. For the hip width, measure horizontally from the outside of one leg hole to the other. The inseam length can be found by measuring from the crotch down to the end of the BDU Shorts. To find the outseam length, measure from the top edge of the waistband to the bottom edge of the hem.

Excellent shorts. The material has a rough surface that helps with perspiration, unlike many lighter fabrics that I've used. There are also many practical and functional design elements to the shorts. They fit as expected, being taller rather than skinny. Very happy with the quality. Recommended.

Well made shorts. Nice fabric. Sizing is a little different from my older camo BDU's, but not enough to not be comfortable. If your size and waist is as it should be for you, then the fit is pretty accurate. For me, it's a snug waist and a bit loose in the seat and thighs. If you want something a bit looser, order the next size up. As usual, no belt loops. They are comfortable and I wear them quite a bit.

Good fit. My first pair from Rothco was the small side of small, this time I bought medium based on reviews. Fit perfectly. Material was heavier than expected but I liked that. The pattern is dead on, not sure how much of that matters to you but to me that matters. It does get a little warm in this fabric, it's not like I have it off and sitting on my legs. Good work shorts for outdoor chores. Also they have the buttons instead of a zipper so you can wear these with leather knee high boots.

Fit fine out of the box but beware. Will definitely shrink after the first wash. Great material. Quality seems good so far. They look nice and feel good too. Just be prepared to pull the drawstrings tight to keep them where you want them after a wash. 5'9, 170lbs. Ordered the medium.

Very nice product! The only reason it got four stars is because the string that ties the shorts broke after only wearing it a few times. The string broke at the ends which means the sewing is a little off. Other than that, I love it!

Just received these today, but have a lot of experience with bdu pants and paratrooper bdu. Love these shorts. Very durable and good fit, they are longer than most shorts. Love the look. Love the feel. Can't wait to take them out and use them, but plan to do a lot of sitting and watching with them too!
