How to Measure: Measure horizontally from end to end around the waistband for the waist. For the hip width, measure horizontally from the outside of one leg hole to the other. The inseam length can be found by measuring from the crotch down to the end of the BDU Shorts. To find the outseam length, measure from the top edge of the waistband to the bottom edge of the hem.

Excellent shorts. The material has a rough surface that helps with perspiration, unlike many lighter fabrics that I've used. There are also many practical and functional design elements to the shorts. They fit as expected, being taller rather than skinny. Very happy with the quality. Recommended.

Well made shorts. Nice fabric. Sizing is a little different from my older camo BDU's, but not enough to not be comfortable. If your size and waist is as it should be for you, then the fit is pretty accurate. For me, it's a snug waist and a bit loose in the seat and thighs. If you want something a bit looser, order the next size up. As usual, no belt loops. They are comfortable and I wear them quite a bit.
