Beats OEM PriceGot this for my Ranch Rifle since Im stuck with 10 rounders here in CA and didnt want to keep paying Ruger factory prices. It locked in with a nice click the first time and Ive put maybe 60 rounds through it at the range with zero feed issues so far. The steel feels sturdy and its pretty close to the factory mag quality.

Compliant Mag, One Quirky EjectorPicked up four of these from KeepShooting to round out my Mini-14 Ranch Rifle kit living in a capacity-restricted state so 10-rounders are what I'm working with, and I wanted something better than the ProMag steel mags I tried a couple years ago (those things would choke on the last round almost every single time, which is... not ideal if SHTF). The United Defense mags have a heat-treated steel body with a black oxide finish, and honestly they feel close enough to my factory Ruger 5-rounders in terms of heft and build that I wasn't worried about them right out of the bag. Fed 200+ rounds of Federal American Eagle 55gr through two of them without a single hiccup. My only gripe is that one of the four mags is noticeably stiffer to release than the other three you have to give it a real yank rather than letting it drop free on the mag release, which I'm guessing is a slight variance in the rocking lug fitment, a known quirk on the Mini-14 platform. The finish does scratch up faster than the OEM Ruger mags just from normal handling, so if you're worried about corrosion in a cache or a wet bug-out bag, give them a light coat of CLP or a wipe of Sentry TUF-GLIDE before you stash them. For the price around $19 a pop I'm not complaining, and at 10-round restricted capacity these are exactly what I needed for redundancy across my loadout.

Amazing backup mags without breaking the bankGrabbed a couple of these United Defense 10-rounders for my Mini-14 after watching too many YouTube videos on capacity-restricted setups. They lock in with a good click and fed everything from Winchester white box to Hornady Critical Defense without a hitch over the last 300 rounds. Build quality feels close enough to the Ruger OEM ones I already own, just without the premium price tag. My wife gave me the usual eye-roll when another package showed up but these are way cheaper than the factory mags and hold up fine for range days and property work. Only thing is the spring was a little stiff out of the box but loosened up quick.

Good Aftermarket MagPicked this up because I needed a compliant 10 rounder for my state and didn't want to spend factory Ruger prices for something Im just gonna toss in a range bag. Seats fine when the bolt is back. Its done everything I needed it to do at the range and the steel build doesn't feel cheap at all.
