These socks keep your feet WARM!!! I have diabetes so my feet always hurt and are always warm, but with these they are toasty. Just be aware that these will be too big for size 11. I am a size 11 shoe, and a women's 11 shoe, and they were HUGE on me! My whole calf was filled with these huge socks. But, that said, the feel is nice, and they keep your tootsies warm and fuzzy!!

The best part of these socks is they have a dense polyester interior to keep your legs warm in extreme cold. However, they did keep my legs warm in very cold windy conditions when the others around me were still very cold and my fingers were still very warm. However, these will keep your legs nice and toasty. Just not warm enough to keep your calves or shins warm if you are in motion for any length of time in the cold and you are not bundled up good enough in layers of warm clothing. The bottom line is that they keep your lower legs warm and toasty in the cold and very warm in the warm. but not good for standing outside in the cold for very long in one spot. In very cold weather they kept me toasty. In mild to moderate conditions you are not getting any real warmth out of these. If you are standing still in a warm condition with these on, they are comfortable. The only reason I purchased these was for the 90/10 poly/cotton blend of the sock and they delivered in the mild to moderate weather condition, not in cold or very cold conditions. They did the job in the cold but the high cotton material means they do not insulate your legs in cold weather like they should. This may change when I wear them for some time and they are broken in a bit. The other issue is that they do tend to bind a bit on the top portion of the leg if you are walking or in motion. If you don't move much they are great and comfortable.
