A solid high-res print on nice quality vinyl. It is not an iron-on patch. It is a sew-on, meaning you can sew the patch onto a garment. You may want to consider having it professionally sewn if you want a nice crisp look and perfect placement on your garment. I like that it comes with an adhesive on the back, making it simple to place on my jacket and give it a test drive. If I wanted to remove it later, it would be a simple matter of peeling it off and then washing the garment in cold water. I was worried about it pulling off in the wash but I wash and dry on hot settings, and have not noticed any significant wear.
